Wardro

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 7, 2026

Wardro (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an online marketplace where users create, remix, and purchase AI-generated t-shirts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can reach us at hello@wardro.io.

By using wardro.io (the “Service”), you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Account information from Google Sign-In: name, email address, and profile picture
  • Profile information: username, bio, and profile picture
  • Design inputs: text prompts, descriptions, and chat messages you send when creating a shirt
  • Shipping information: name, mailing address, and phone number (at checkout)
  • Payment information: billing details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers

Information collected automatically:

  • Log and device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps
  • Analytics data through Vercel Web Analytics, which measures page views and general traffic patterns without tracking individual users across sites
  • Authentication cookies required to keep you signed in

Reference images. If you upload a reference image while designing, that image is sent to our AI provider for the current generation request only. We do not store reference images on our servers after the generation is complete.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Generate shirt designs based on your prompts
  • Display public profiles, designs, and listings on the marketplace
  • Process orders, payments, and fulfill and ship products
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account or orders
  • Send you product updates and marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time — see Section 6)
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms
  • Improve the Service and understand how it is used
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers we need to operate the Service, and only the minimum necessary for each to do its job:

  • Google — Sign-In authentication (email, basic profile)
  • Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage (account data, designs, chat messages, uploaded files)
  • Vercel — Hosting and analytics (request/log data, aggregate analytics)
  • Third-party AI providers — Generating shirt designs from your prompts and references (design prompts and reference images, not retained after generation)
  • Printful — Manufacturing and shipping orders (name, shipping address, order details, design files)
  • Stripe — Payment processing (name, billing address, payment details)

AI and your data. We use third-party AI providers to generate designs. We do not permit them to retain your inputs or train their models on your content. Reference images you upload are used only for the specific generation request and are discarded afterward.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Wardro, our users, or others. If Wardro is ever sold or merged, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Public Information

When you create a public profile or publish a design to the marketplace, the following becomes publicly visible:

  • Your username
  • Your profile picture
  • Your bio
  • Designs and shirts you have published

You can choose not to publish designs if you want them to remain private.

5. Design Ownership

Designs generated on Wardro are owned by Wardro. Full details about content ownership and licensing are explained in our Terms of Service.

6. Marketing Communications

By creating an account, you may be added to our mailing list for product updates and promotional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing us at hello@wardro.io. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, account notices) will continue regardless.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we are required to keep it (for example, to comply with tax and accounting laws, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements). Orders and transaction records are retained as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@wardro.io. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Users in the EU, UK, and EEA have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls on our databases. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
